After a long time of rumors, Microsoft has finally shared official images of the new Windows 10 start menu, which should be available in 2020.
Although the official date for this improvement is not yet known, through a Facebook post the company showed what the final design for the option will be like.
In the leak you can see that the information boxes will still be present within the new start menu of the company, but apparently there will be the possibility of deactivating them.
On the other hand, in the images you can see a different and cleaner design than the current one, which will have the added option of being compatible with dark mode.
All these changes made by the company are based on Fluent Desing, a Microsoft design system that aims to be applied throughout the entire operating system.
This style renewal came to the company after the presentation of Windows 10X, an operating system that will bring dual-screen devices to life, such as its Tablet Surface Neo, which appeared on the market in late 2019.
However, the company is also putting its efforts to improve the operating system on single-screen devices.
If we compare the version of Windows 10 that came on the market in 2015 with the current one, the last one looks quite different, since updates have been applied to the icons, start menu and others.
Regarding the launch date, the company did not want to advance anything, but this should eventually occur in the coming months, to continue improving the design of the system after various user complaints that have dragged on for years.
