If you are one of those who works with (and from) their smartphone, you need a device that performs at the right times. However, choosing a team that perfectly adapts to these demands can be more complex than it seems, and therefore we will help you by showing you the best smartphones for doing business that are currently on the market.
We have examined some of the best smartphones, paying special attention to those devices that come with special features to help you in business, offering you excellent value for money or that simply stand out in different areas for their usefulness and features.
The best business phone
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
Why should you buy it ?: Because you want a solid phone with good features for a variety of businesses.
For whom it is?: For seriously busy people who need a pocket productivity engine.
Equipped with Android 10, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus is one of the best smartphones for business, with the powerful Snapdragon 855 processor, a spectacular quad camera, and the iconic S Pen digital pen. It has almost everything you would want in a modern smartphone, and while it does have some weaknesses, it is simply one of the best phones today.
Also, it comes with 12 GB of RAM and with two internal memory options, 256 GB and 512 GB, as well as a MicroSD slot to expand. The battery is not far behind in power with its 4,300 mAh, in addition to artificial intelligence that lets you know when we use it the most and help us extend its life. To make matters worse, it is equipped with wireless charging and fast charging.
But what makes the Galaxy Note 10 Plus our choice for the best business phone is that it’s packed with useful features. The huge 6.3-inch AMOLED screen can display a wealth of information, and you can use the S Pen to write notes, even when the screen is off. But that is not all. The Note 10’s S Pen is not just a stylus, it can also be used to display a variety of useful functions, several of them related to taking pictures and videos. Its possibilities are much broader, since third-party apps can also make use of these gestures.
While Bixby is not the best smart phone assistant yet, it has recently received a number of updates, including the ability to recognize and scan documents in Bixby Vision with Adobe scanning support. It also supports the dual SIM card, which is ideal for users who travel constantly, and for anyone with a business phone number.
Another advantage is that with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus DeX mode can be activated and connected with a standard USB cable to a Windows or Macbook laptop. Just as you zoom in on an image, you can do the same with the phone’s microphone to hear a distant conversation or talk more clearly, reducing the noise of the environment.
The best iPhone for business
iPhone XS Max
Why should you buy it ?: Because it is an incredibly powerful, capable, and big screen phone.
For whom it is?: For those who are in the Apple ecosystem and need their work to be easily available on their phone.
If you are looking for a phone to complement your other Apple work products, or you are simply a fan of the brand, the iPhone XS Max is one of the best alternatives. The XS 6.5’s huge 6.5-inch screen offers plenty of space to read documents, review photos, or catch up on some work (potentially with a Bluetooth keyboard). Although it is not the latest Apple phone, it is a powerful machine.
The A12 Bionic processor of the iPhone XS Max is one of the most powerful processors in the mobile world. It is powerful in benchmark tests, just like in real use, delivering super fluid performance in everyday tasks, and it handles high-end mobile games just as easily. The 4GB of RAM means there is plenty of room for multitasking, while the 512GB storage option gives most users the space they need. While mobile gaming isn’t top of the list on a business phone, it does have reliable power that won’t disappoint.
It is an attractive phone, with a stainless steel and glass structure that will not look out of place anywhere. The OLED display itself is a beauty, with deep blacks and vibrant colors. Keep in mind though that this is a huge phone, and most will have a hard time using it with one hand.
The XS Max was released with Apple’s iOS 12 operating system, although it has already received the update to iOS 13, and it is very easy to use, with smooth performance and some really useful additional features like Siri shortcuts. The new iOS gesture navigation controls can get some people confused at startup, but they’re quick once you get used to them.
One of the main advantages of the iPhone XS Max is the close relationship that iOS has with other Apple products. You can access documents at any time from your iMac or MacBook from your iPhone, thanks to iCloud synchronization. While it may not be that big of a deal if you constantly travel with your MacBook or iPad, take the pressure off if you realize you forgot your laptop or couldn’t take it with you for whatever reason. The iPhone XS Max also comes with dual SIM capabilities.
The battery will last an entire day and you can refill it with wireless charging or with the included charger. However, if you want a quick charge, you will have to buy a specialized charger since Apple does not include a quick charger in the box.
The biggest point against the iPhone XS Max is without a doubt the cost. Although you can find it at more convenient prices than it was originally released with – $ 1,100 for the 64GB model and $ 1,500 for 512GB of storage – it is still too high. Especially since it doesn’t have a MicroSD card slot, so it will be all the storage you’ll get outside of iCloud.
However, if those small downsides aren’t a problem for you and you prefer the reliability of Apple products, the iPhone XS Max is an exceptional business phone. Another alternative would be to opt for the newer iPhone 11 Pro Max, although you will have to pay more for it.
The best iconic small business phone
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
Why should you buy it? If you want a manageable and affordable phone with great features.
For whom it is? Someone who wants a smaller, full-featured Android flagship phone.
The Galaxy S10 Plus has a large 6.4-inch Infinity-O screen that covers almost the entire front of the phone and reduces bezels to a minimum. But that is not all. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor, which reigned among 2019’s high-end phones, and 8GB and 12GB RAM alternatives. As for storage, it offers 128GB of storage and a MicroSD card slot, in case you need to add more space.
Although it doesn’t have the S Pen, it gives you access to Samsung’s DeX mode, which allows you to quickly and easily configure a hotel TV as a monitor, without having to charge a laptop. In addition, it is also equipped with an excellent camera for photos and Bixby Vision.
While not as powerful as the newest Galaxy S20, the S10 Plus has a 4,100mAh battery, which Samsung says should last a full day with no problems, and you can refuel it via USB-C or wirelessly. But the most interesting thing about this phone is that it was the first by Samsung to introduce the Wireless PowerShare function, capable of wirelessly charging other Qi-enabled products.
